KTI participated in Taiwan International Water Week 2026 (TIWW) from October 14 to 16, 2026, showcasing its achievements in seawater desalination, water recycling and reuse, and pipe manufacturing. The company also received GOLD recognition under the exhibition’s “AquaImpact Sustainable Water Label” program, highlighting its progress in energy conservation, carbon reduction, water resource management, and ESG sustainability.

Key highlights included the operational achievements of Phase 1 of the Second Magong Desalination Plant in Penghu and the engineering design成果 of Phase 1 of the Tainan Desalination Plant. These projects demonstrate KTI’s integrated capabilities, spanning plant planning and design, turnkey construction, and long-term operation and maintenance services. KTI also presented its technology for recovering and reusing calcium and magnesium from desalination brine, jointly developed with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). By recovering valuable resources from brine, the technology supports carbon reduction, waste minimization, and circular resource use.

In pipe manufacturing, KTI showcased its established large-diameter steel pipes (SP) and ductile iron pipes (DIP), alongside high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes from its newly established subsidiary, KYH Environmental Technology. This expanded product portfolio supports applications in desalination intake and discharge systems, water distribution networks, and utility systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities, further strengthening KTI’s presence across the water industry value chain.

Looking ahead, KTI will continue to advance water technology innovation and green engineering. By integrating its expertise in pipe manufacturing, water infrastructure, and operation and maintenance, the company remains committed to supporting a reliable water supply and sustainable development in Taiwan.
